HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-one – Print, Copy, Scan for busy professionals on the move

HP’s Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-one has been designed to deliver print, copy and scan functionality for professionals on the move. It is expected to be available in June 2012. This small and compact AIO features Bluetooth® for wireless printing from Bluetooth® enabled notebooks and smartphones, and a long-lasting lithium-ion battery. HP claims that the long-lasting battery provides enough power to print up to 500 pages, and it automatically powers off when idle to save battery life.
The 50-sheet input tray and draft print speeds up to 22 ppm (Black) and 18 ppm (Color) get the job done when you need to print while flying long-distance. With the dye-based color inks and pigment based black ink your prints have brilliant professional color with resolutions up to 4800 dpi (with 1200 input dpi). You can save paper with the manual duplex printing feature. Scan and store your documents on memory cards or a PC so that you can share them electronically without creating paper copies. HP has also incorporated support for multitasking as well as borderless printing in this AIO.
The Officejet 150 Mobile AIO comes with Bluetooth, USB and PictBridge connectivity and also includes a memory card slot. You can print directly from memory cards or PictBridge enabled digital cameras by using the 2.36” color touch screen.

Canon imageRUNNER LBP5280 and LBP3480 Desktop Laser Beam Printers – robust printers for SMBs and Enterprise Workgroups

The imageRUNNER LBP5280 and LBP3480 are Canon’s latest additions to their imageRUNNER line of printers. These desktop models have been designed to meet the printing needs of small and medium sized businesses and enterprise workgroups. The LBP5280 is a color printer while the LBP3480 prints only B&W.
Both models incorporate the RAPID Fusing System which provides exceptional image quality and needs almost zero warm-up time, besides consuming less heat and energy. Fast processing of complex print jobs is boosted by the scalable 768 MB RAM. The LBP5280 is capable of print speeds of up to 21 ppm (Letter) in both B&W and Color. The LBP3480 is faster with speeds of up to 35 ppm (Letter). Standard Automatic Trayless Duplexing is part and parcel of both models, so you can print on both sides of the paper and reduce paper consumption.
Though the standard print resolution is 600 x 600 dpi, you can get crisp sharp text and image output that is equivalent to 2400 x 600 dpi. The 5-line scrolling LCD and user-friendly control panel enables quick and easy navigation and lets you view toner and paper levels as well as status at a glance.
You can connect USB memory devices and USB cards to the two USB ports that are located at the front and back of the printer to facilitate USB-direct printing. With this feature you can directly print PDF, JPEG, TIFF and XPS file formats without using a PC. The Secure Print, Mail Box Print and Email Print features are available with the use of the optional SD card.
The front loading design for paper, toner, fuser and drum makes these printers compact and easy to maintain. You can integrate these printers on the network with imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFP systems and set up workflows to route print jobs and inbound faxes to your LBP printers thereby reducing the number of fax lines.
The LBP5280 and LBP3480 printers can be easily managed using Canon’s scalable imageWARE EMC utility that facilitates centralized management of printers and multifunction devices from Canon as well as other vendors.

With the launch of the HP Officejet 4620, 6600, 6700 Premium e-All-in-Ones and the Officejet 6100 ePrinter, HP has come up with a new set of cost effective solutions for small and medium sized businesses. The e-All-in-One models are capable of multi-tasking and print, copy, scan and fax functions. USB 2.0 connectivity is standard across all the models. They have built-in wireless capability that gives you the flexibility to print from virtually anywhere as well as print from mobile devices with HP ePrint and Apple Airtime. Besides being economically priced, they incorporate energy saving modes as well.
The higher end Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One has a 2.65” color LCD touch screen from where you can access apps on the web as well as directly manage print, copy and scan functions. The 35-sheet ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), 250-sheet input paper tray and draft print speeds of up to 34 ppm (Black) and 31 ppm (Color) mean higher productivity and fewer stops to replace paper. You get to save on paper by using the standard automatic duplex printing feature. The scanner can be operated by using the flatbed or the ADF. Scanning using the ADF is quick and easy when you have multiple pages to scan. This model includes a front USB port as well as Ethernet in addition to wireless and USB 2.0 connectivity.
The Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One has pretty much all the features of the 6700 model, except that its draft print speeds are slower at about 32 ppm (Black) and 30 ppm (Color), and it doesn’t feature duplex printing, a front USB port or Ethernet connectivity.
The lower end Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One has a 35-sheet ADF and an 80-sheet input paper tray. With draft print speeds of up to 23 ppm (Black) and 22 ppm (Color) and a print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, it is good for sharp, clear everyday prints. You can print right to the edge of the paper to create borderless prints up to 8.5” x 11” in size. The print, copy and scan functions can be operated directly from the 2” monochrome LCD. It doesn’t feature web connectivity, duplex printing, a front USB port or Ethernet connectivity.
The Officejet 6100 ePrinter has a 250-sheet input paper capacity and fast draft print speeds of up to 34 ppm (Black) and 31 ppm (Color). It supports a wide range of media and includes USB 2.0, Ethernet as well as Wireless connectivity. Duplex printing capability is not available on the ePrinter. You can print to it from mobile devices by using HP ePrint and Apple Airtime.

The palm-sized HXRNX30U HD camcorder is the latest addition to Sony’s NXCAM line of professional camcorders. This small and lightweight camcorder is the perfect solution for documentary makers, video journalists and home video enthusiasts who do a lot of handheld video shooting. It incorporates Sony’s Balanced Optical SteadyShot™ technology to eliminate the effect of hand wobbles and shakes. It also includes professional quality audio controls and a detachable XLR unit. You can use the built-in projector to play back video recordings on a wall or screen – there is no need to plug-in to a television or computer. The 1/2.88” Exmor R Image Sensor gives you better low-light performance and supports a wide range of frame rates. So you can shoot 1920 x 1080 HD resolution at 60p, 30p and 24p frame rates. There’s even a 720/60p option. The HXRNX30U has a 96 GB internal memory and features a memory card slot.
The Sony NEXFS700U is fitted with a 4K Exmor Super35 CMOS Sensor which is capable of 960 frames per second. With this high-speed chip you can shoot exceptional quality full HD ultra-slow motion videos (up to 240 frames per second) with low noise and minimal aliasing. You can also shoot full HD videos at frame rates of 60p, 50p, 60i, 24p, 25p, and 30p. The E-Mount Interchangeable Lens System allows you to use 35mm SLR, DSLR and cinematography lenses and third-party adapters without any loss of picture quality. You can record onto SD or Memory Sticks, or use Sony’s 128 GB flash memory unit (HXR-FMU128) with the camcorder. Sony has provided a 3G-HD SDI output terminal on this model, and has plans to offer 4K bit-stream data over this output terminal when used with the optional Sony 4K recorder.

Brother Graffitee GT 300 Series Digital Garment Printers – Print Directly on Garments

Brother’s Graffitee GT 300 Series Digital Garment Printers are economical, compact and more advanced when compared to the bulkier and more expensive GT-541 and GT-782 models. The lower-end GT-341 can print only CMYK on white or light colored material, whereas the GT-361 and GT-381 can also print in white on material of any color. Customers who opt for the more economical GT-341 can easily upgrade to GT-361 or GT-381 when they need.
These printers can print on 100% cotton as well as 50/50 cotton/polyester blends. Dark garments are required to be pre-treated before being printed on. With resolutions of 600 x 600 dpi and photo quality images up to 1200 dpi, the results are sharp and crisp. The ink needs to be cured by using a heat press, conveyor oven/dryer or industrial irons. The GT-361 and GT-381 can print in both color as well as white ink in a single pass, which means faster print times.
The platen is covered with a special fabric to keep the garment in place while printing – so you needn’t use pins or tacks. The platen height can be adjusted to print on different parts of the garment. You can create your designs using Adobe Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, CorelDRAW and other popular software and directly print on to the garment.
With its built-in user interface and Windows print driver, this printer doesn’t require any RIP or special interface. The front loading ink cartridge system is easy to handle and simplifies ink replacement. The printer can be hooked up to your PC with a USB 2.0 cable. Using Windows’ printer sharing feature you can share this printer on your network. If you don’t want to use a PC, you can plug-in a USB memory device to directly load and print your designs.
Brother is expected to start shipping the Graffitee GT 300 series printers in April 2012.

The 25-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) lets you perform copy, scan and fax functions unattended, and with minimum fuss. The eFax function lets you send faxes without a phone line. With draft print speeds of up to 34 ppm (Black) and 33 ppm (Color), print resolution up to 600 dpi and automatic two-sided printing, your everyday print jobs are handled efficiently while saving on paper consumption.
You can print borderless photos on HP photo paper with resolutions of up to 9600 x 2400 dpi (with 1200 dpi input). HP has included support for a wide variety of media including plain paper, photo paper, envelopes, cards, labels and custom media sizes, so you have greater flexibility for homework assignments, project reports or just to create greeting cards for family and friends.
The Photosmart 7510 doesn’t have an Ethernet interface or a port for plugging in a USB drive, but it has a standard USB 2.0 interface, wireless connectivity and includes support for memory cards.

Citizen CMP-20 and CMP-30 barcode printers – robust, long-running and easy to operate

Citizen’s CMP-20 / CMP-30 barcode printers are compact, rugged and easy-to-operate. Designed to handle larger diameter paper rolls and powered by long lasting lithium-ion battery packs, these printers can be used in day long printing operations. They are ideal for use in Field Automation, Super Market checkout counters, Hospitals and Healthcare industry, Warehousing/Logistics, Ticketing, Labeling and other mobile applications that require printed receipts.
The drop-in loader enables easy media loading and the helpful paper-end indicator lets you know when to reload paper. Cover-open, Low battery and Head temperature sensors are also included. The integrated tear bar allows for easy paper tear off.
Print speeds of 80mm/sec (CMP-20) and 100 mm/sec (CMP-30) ensure high-productivity, and with the availability of two font sizes you can print 32/42 characters per line on the CMP-20 and 48/64 characters per line on the CMP-30. ASCII, International characters, alphanumeric characters and Windows Code page are supported.
An A/C adapter has been provided for recharging the batteries while on the printer or via an external charging station. The high-impact ABS plastic packaging enables these printers to withstand occasional knocks and scrapes. OKI Data B700 series – Monochrome Laser Printers for demanding workgroups

The OKI Data B700 series of monochrome laser printers include network ready printers with optional/standard duplexing. These printers feature print speeds of 42 ppm (B710n/dn), 47 ppm (B720n/dn) and 52 ppm (B730n/dn), standard 700-sheet paper capacity that can be enhanced to up to 1,800 sheets and 128 MB RAM. You can enhance the standard 128 MB RAM to up to 640 MB to improve the processing capacity for large print jobs.
Paper consumption can be reduced using the duplexing feature. Duplexing is optional in the B710n, B720n and B730n models and available as a standard feature in the B710dn, B720dn and B730dn models. Standard interfaces include IEEE Bi-directional parallel, RS-232C Serial, High-speed USB 2.0 and RJ45 Ethernet print server; the 1 GB Ethernet print server is optional. OKI has recently introduced the Wi-Fi option for the B700 series.
The optional 40 GB hard disk and 512 MB Compact Flash Kit not only allow file storage, but also enable useful features like Proof & Print, Secure Print and Delayed Print.
Your organization’s security concerns are adequately addressed by the standard security features that are built into the B700 series. In addition to security protocols like 802.1x Authentication, SNMP v3 and IP Security, OKI has also implemented storage device security. A 6-digit PIN is required for accessing jobs stored on the hard disk or flash memory. The Auto Delete and Secure Erase features delete jobs stored on the hard disk or flash memory.
The B700 series include energy and cost saving features like Toner Save Mode, Duplex Printing, long lasting toner cartridges, and low power consumption in regular operation – especially in the Standby mode.
